Inspiration Board Wednesday: Rouge & Mint Holiday

For those of you who have been reading this blog for a while, you know that I love me some unexpected Christmas palettes.  As soon as I saw the minty looking beverage with the lovely striped straw, I knew I needed to see more of this color combination.

This board has a slight retro vibe.  The ruffled blue dress in the middle and the handsome rouge cardigan with mint dress shirt at matching tie, really have a vintage feel, which makes putting together a board like this, lots of fun!  The homemade iced sugar cookies would make such a lovely parting favor for your guests.  And while this could certainly include very specific holiday touches like ornaments, holiday sugar cookies and winter berries, it doesn't feel over the top.  There's just a slight nod to the holiday...its very subtle.

I was so inspired by this color palette that I recreated our Gwen invite from our Etsy shop...{This sample also has a font change...I think I actually like it better with the font change! What do you think?}
