Guest Post: Uses for Calligraphy, Part II

Hello bloggy friends!

(We're on friends basis now, right? I've been here for 2 weeks now, after all)

Katie here again from Belles Lettres Designs calligraphy company. You can view Part I of this series from last week's post if you're interested. We are exploring the uses of calligraphy.

I thought it would only be appropriate to share with you a collaboration that Aimee and I worked on together for (drum roll)..... my business cards!
It's true. I don't remember how I first came across Creative Montage, but I was so excited when I started thinking about working with Aimee on a project and knew that she would figure something perfect out for a design on my business cards.

I did the calligraphy for my company name and Aimee created the design and lay-out for the rest of the card. I am so pleased with them. I wish you could see them in person. Of course, if you request it, I can't say I wouldn't mail one to you ;)

They are sturdy with wonderful pink and brown colors... and rounded corners. So fun.

Well, friends, this is the feature of the week. The point is that calligraphy is very versatile and can be used in many ways. I often have clients approach me with projects that I have never thought of before.

I do many wedding envelopes and place cards, but the projects for vows and gift tags and wedding frame mattes are all so fun to do as well.
I'd love to hear any ideas you may have.
