Guest Post: Dani & Ryan's vintage yellow and brown wedding!

Dani & Ryan were married on August 2nd in historic downtown Grapevine, TX. Their wedding was chic and super unique with a gorgeous brown and yellow color scheme. There was no detail overlooked when it came to décor.

The ceremony was held at the Palace Theatre and the drama of the stage was added to by hanging paper lanterns and running elegant candle holders along the perimeter.

Even the unity candles were vintage inspired with a beautifully detailed candle holder.

The bridal party had killer style. The girls wore adorable yellow dresses that can definitely be worn again. They had brown wedge shoes and simple charm necklaces and bangle bracelets to finish the outfit off. The boys wore skinny ties and double breasted vests for a smart vintage-inspired look. The flowers were simple but bold.

Of course, the bride and groom had killer style themselves. Dani had a beautiful curve hugging lace dress and unique vintage inspired accessories. Ryan wore a smart, modern suit with a skinny tie. Aren’t they a gorgeous couple?

I was absolutely crazy over all the details at the reception! There was variety, but it all harmonized so well together. Warm glowing candles.. paisley print.. and GORGEOUS cakes. Check it out!

There were two types of center pieces. One featured lanterns, which carried over from the ceremony décor, on top of paisley fabric with candles in tall candle holders. The second centerpiece design was a glass vase filled with water, mixed pebbles, a sunken flower and a floating candle, as well as the paisley fabric and smaller candles. The favors were custom printed bags for guests to fill with candy from the delicious, and beautiful, candy bar!

The cakes were absolutely amazing. The brides cake had a piped on paisley print and hanging trim. The grooms cake was an artistic tree and bird motif that matched the color scheme of the wedding. The décor for the cake tables matched the rest of the reception décor with candles and lanterns, and paisley fabric.

Dani & Ryan made their exit among a shower of bubbles. Bubbles are a fun, safe, low mess way to make a fun exit!

The vintage theme even carried over to Dani & Ryan’s getaway car! They got a 50’s style limo to take them from the reception. The limo driver was great, and let us make a stop for a few more portraits with his awesome car!
