Don't be a Birch

I always try to be a little clever with my titles...but I'm clearly lacking on creative words right now so I asked my hubby to step in for a title. This is what he came up with. Seriously. I'm not even kidding.

I love birch. When I was little I used to love playing with the bark. For some reason the layers just enthralled me. Photos of birch forests are my favorite fall images. Maybe its the New Englander in me...

Anyways I really love the thought of using birch for different elements in a wedding. Its a classic New England fall element that really can translate well in any location whether it be a ballroom, a backyard wedding or a camp inspired affair.

Birch vessels add a beautiful rustic flair and are a creative way of containing floral arrangements. Varying heights would add some dimension and texture to any table top. I'm actually considering something like this for my kitchen table...I just love it!

A birch branch arbor/huppah infused with luscious fall florals...genious!

These next birch items from Muscari are to die for....I love the simplicity!

Um birch boutonniere incorporating a hint of rustic florals? Yes, please!

Check out these lovely birch tidbits from various Etsy shops! It would be so easy to incorporate this element into your day!
